The Birth of a Movement: Dian Fossey’s first camp was a pair of makeshift tents in Rwanda that she christened    the Karisoke   Research Center—a name derived from the pair of peaks on either side; Karisimbi and Visoke. A    census conducted shortly   after Fossey’s arrival in 1967 found only 240 gorillas left at the park.

Day 8: Tarangire– Serengeti National Park

After breakfast game en route to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro. Afterwards, we visit the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world – Serengeti National Park. The word ‘Serengeti’ means ‘endless plains’, which describes the park’s 5,600 square mile boundary. Yet for its sprawling area, the Serengeti does not disappoint when it comes to rich game-viewing. Annually, from May to December, millions of animals embark on a migration which brings them from central Serengeti to Kenya’s Masai Mara and back again in an incredible spectacle. Even during the ‘down-time’, vast herds of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle roam here, along with groups of elephant, giraffe, and buffalo. Day 1; Nairobi-masai mara

Pick up from Nairobi hotel and depart for, famous maasai mara world-wide. On arrival in check in at the Serena mara camp and have lunch. After lunch, you will have a short rest then proceed for the afternoon game drive around the lake until sunset. .

Day 9: Serengeti – Ngorongoro

After breakfast, am game drive in Serengeti National Park with picnic lunch, until noon, where you will have again game drive to see the beauty of this great Park. Afternoon after lunch game en route to Ngorongoro Crater for Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Crater. Overnight at  Campsite.

Day 10: Ngorongoro Crater – 

After early breakfast around 05:50am, descend down crater at 06am for 6-7hrs game drive, with picnic lunch. We venture onto the crater floor for an up close at the residents of this World Heritage Site, and enjoy a picnic lunch here. The Ngorongoro Crater provides great game-viewing all year-round. The wildlife here makes up a permanent population because grazing and water supplies are plentiful throughout the seasons. Afternoon fly back to Nairobi.
